The TZZ Noerdlingen der Hochschule Augsburg , together with the Aalen University of Applied Sciences, is organizing the 2nd user forum on the topic of “Digital Twin” on March 15th. The aim of the series of events is to bundle regional competencies and thus support the innovative ability of companies in the region. Amongst others, ITQ Senior Consultant Anton Fritsch will explain in his lecture several “Application scenarios of the digital twin in the product life cycle” and show practice-oriented implementation strategies. In addition, ITQ GmbH will present a Virtual Reality Demonstration at the event.

By using a Digital Twin, the commissioning times of machines and systems can be significantly reduced. If you implement the idea of full digitalization in the development process of a machine right from the start, completely new possibilities arise in Engineering. Digital Twins form the basis of Virtual Engineering, which means that different cost-effective machine variants can be compared and development times and costs can be reduced.

The event takes place at the TTZ Nördlingen and is free of charge. It will also be possible to participate online via Zoom. Interested parties can register until March 4th.
