On April 25, 2024, ITQ GmbH will once again be taking part in this year’s Girls’ Day and inviting young schoolgirls to its offices in Garching and Duisburg.
Interested girls between the ages of 10 and 16 can get to know ITQ, as a service provider for software and systems engineering, on this morning. During a tour of our office, the girls will gain a first insight into the working world of engineers. In Munich we also show our cool training projects, such as our robot-controlled ice cream machine, the Fwip Ice Demonstrator, and our accurate dartboard – Mi5 Dartboard. In Duisburg you can learn a lot about 3D printing.
Together with our LEGO Coaches, the girls can then gain their first experience of programming the small LEGO Mindstorms robots. They learn how to program the development environment of a robot based on a LEGO Mindstorms system kit using a graphical user interface. In no time at all, the girls will be able to control the LEGO Mindstorms robots themselves and drive their first courses.
Interested schoolgirls do not need any previous knowledge.
