ITQ GmbH in cooperation with the “Technik macht Spaß” foundation are expanding their education program and offering new technology workshops. At the end of 2023, children in Duisburg took part in the new “Learning programming with KARL” workshop series and were able to gain their first experience with the Python programming language.
We are now extending our educational commitment to the German capital and inviting children between the ages of 9 and 12 to a technology workshop with KARL in Berlin. Together with our technology coaches, the children can experience the fun of technology at first hand and bring the little blue robot KARL to life without any prior knowledge.
With his colorful 3D-printed housing and friendly smile, KARL quickly wins everyone’s hearts. He’s also got something in his head: his powerful Raspberry Pi Pico microcontroller is programmed in Python. His eyes light up in colour, he can play music and walk or dance with his four built-in servo motors.
