Also this year ITQ GmbH is exhibitor in the context of the leading trade fair for smart and digital automation, SPS – Smart Production Solution. From the 26th to the 28th of November 2019, visitors will get in hall 6, booth 260 an insight into the topics of Smart Green Mobility and Smart Green Education Activities 4.0.
At the joint stand Bayern Innovativ, the new version of the Bamboo Solar Car will be presented and highlighted live. The Bamboo Solar Car is the current “Smart & Green” ITQ project. The aim is to develop a simple and sustainable transport vehicle that can be built in all regions of the world with little financial resources. ITQ´s motto: Innovation does not have to be expensive, but must be fast, creative and adapted to people’s needs. For example, a construction kit of the Bamboo Solar Car could be set up directly on site in the African region and would be ready for immediate use.
The frame of the car is made entirely of bamboo tubes, which are cut and glued using precise instructions. Flexible large solar panels on the roof of the vehicle reach an energy amount of up to four kilowatt hours. The installation of a DC motor with a power of three to four kilowatts allows a speed of up to 40 kilometers per hour. The material costs amount to around 5.000 Euro.
