ITQ is organizing an international makeathon in Gran Canaria together with the Mi5 team and other partners such as AMK, Phoenix Contact, B&R, Software Factory and Mathworks. Under the motto »Make a smart and green island«, creative and innovative concepts as well as first prototypes are to be generated by young, international students during the makeathon in order to provide sustainable supply for Gran Canaria in the future. Furthermore, the makeathon is to demonstrate how sustainable life and work could look in the future.
