ITQ organises the first Smart Farming Makeathon in Bogotá in cooperation with Universidad de los Andes. From 2 to 5 August 2017 60 students and 15 companies from all over the world will come together to work on innovative ideas regarding the following key topics:
Smart Farming, Robotics, 3D Printing, Visual Recognition and Agriculture Drones.

The local Ministry of Agriculture as well as the Ministry of Information Technology will also attend our event in order to foster progress when it comes to linking Internet of Things, Big Data, Computer Vision, Robotics, Automation and Precision Agriculture. By this, it is aimed to create a sustainable and responsible use of resources that originates from a likewise smart agriculture worldwide.
