ITQ GmbH<\/strong> is exhibitor at the leading Trade Fair SPS 2022<\/a><\/strong> from November 8th to 10th, 2022<\/strong>.\u00a0 In Hall 6, Booth 240<\/strong> visitors can find out more about ITQ’s innovative Solutions for Development Processes in the Automation Industry<\/strong>. An overview of Smart Collaborative Robotics<\/strong> and Education 4.0 activities<\/strong> offers the new Trade Fair demonstrator, Fwip Ice Demonstrator<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The new Fwip Ice Demonstrator will be presented up close and live on site at the Bayern Innovativ<\/a><\/strong> joint booth. The Fwip Ice Demonstrator is ITQ’s current Education 4.0 project.<\/strong> With this project, ITQ not only wants to show the possibilities in the field of Automation<\/strong> and Intelligent Collaboration<\/strong>, but also emphasize the constant focus on innovative Training Concepts<\/strong>. We are very keen to support young people as part of our Young Talents<\/strong> program to expand their skills such as Project Management<\/strong> and Personal Responsibility.<\/strong> In this way, we want to counteract the increasing shortage of skilled workers.<\/p>\n

In this new Education 4.0 ITQ project, two of our students were given the task of controlling the “Fwip” ice cream machine using Robot Technology and Software.<\/strong> The budding engineers programmed Rethink’s Saywer<\/strong> robot<\/strong><\/a> to operate the ice cream machine automatically.<\/p>\n

The user selects the desired type of ice cream via a display. The robotic arm then moves and processes the order. With one gripping hand, it takes an ice cream sundae out of the device and places it under the ice cream machine’s outlet. It then uses a 3D-printed vacuum gripper<\/strong> to remove an ice cartridge from the specially made cooling fitting<\/strong> and places it in the drawer of the ice cream machine. The robot presses the start button and waits for the ice cream machine to prepare. Finally, the robot arm removes the finished ice cream and serves it at the demonstrator’s serving point.<\/p>\n
