All project members have a different background in their individual study. In order to get the best performance we grouped those together with a common knowledge in the assigned area.
The groups we made are: Sensors / Software, Actuators, Regulation and Quality Assurance. | Sensors / Software | Controlling | | | | The sensors and software group is responsible for the architecture design of the software, so that the software fullfills all previously made requirements. The group also developed a strategy for an easy to use calibration process of the two used cameras to guarantee a working system. Additionally the actual dart detection process was planned and realized by the group members. | The Controlling Team with Sabine Öllerer, Inge Anthuber and Michael Mirlach is responsible for the communication between image processing and actorics. All computed coordinates must be converted in regulator compliant data packets, which are transfered with the means of a CANopen-Bus. |
 | Actuators | | | The actuators group developed a concept for a proper positioning of the dartboard to calculated coordinates. A special linear actuators geometry was used to keep the moving mass as low as possible. The base frame was constructed so that it is easy to transport and is able to resist all occuring demands. |
Quality Assurance
| Safety | |
| | The Quality Assurance Team took care, that the planned and implemented product fulfills the predefined requirements. | The safety group is responsible for the conception and realization of safety requirements given by law. Its intention is to protect both our system and its environment against technical weak points and against human error within the scope of a TÜV-certification, in order to minimize the risk potential and to avoid damages. |
